About Me
I am and will always be a daydreamer. My works are manifestations of the worlds that I invent in my head. I create for myself; bringing otherworldly stories, worlds, and characters to life through a variety of materials that share common aesthetics and themes. These works are the language through which I seek to communicate with other kindred spirits who escape to fictional realms the way I do.
My works derive from ideas that bring me joy—fixations that find their way from loosely connected thoughts to fully fleshed-out narratives. I aim to both represent and inspire my fellow daydreamers, the ones who find themselves less focused on their reality and instead on the realms of fiction.
Emma uses illustration and primarily two-dimensional art-making methods to display fantasy-based narratives in her work. She aims to create work that is otherworldly, depicting realms and characters that exist far beyond the known world. Her work is inspired by works of fiction and is derived from ideas that bring her joy—fixations that find their way from loosely connected thoughts to fully fleshed-out narratives.
